  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 1 week before your appointment to protect your skin from irritation.
  • Pause active skincare products like retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs for at least 7 days prior to treatment.
  • Hold off on other cosmetic treatments—no chemical peels, lasers, or resurfacing procedures for 1 week before your appointment.
  • Skip waxing or depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least 7 days beforehand to avoid sensitivity.
  • Avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin or ibuprofen for 7 days after treatment, unless medically necessary.

  • Be gentle: Cleanse with a mild, non-active cleanser for 24–48 hours, and avoid scrubbing or exfoliating.
