PRE & POST CARE

Set the stage for flawless brows with this essential prep:

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24–48 hours before your appointment—both can increase sensitivity and the risk of bleeding.
  • No blood thinners: Refrain from aspirin, ibuprofen, or similar medications for at least 48–72 hours (unless prescribed by your doctor).
  • Hold off on retinoids and exfoliants around the brow area for 7 days prior to treatment.
  • No tanning or sunburn: Avoid direct sun and tanning beds for 1 week before your appointment—your skin should be in its natural state.
  • Skip facial treatments: No Botox, peels, or facials for 2 weeks before your appointment.
  • Do not wax, thread, or tint your brows within 5 days of your treatment.
  • Come with clean skin and natural brows—no makeup, oils, or products on or around the brow area.

Your brows are freshly perfected—now let’s protect your investment:

  • Keep the area dry for the first 7–10 days. Avoid water, sweat, steam, and humidity to allow the skin to heal properly.
  • Do not pick, scratch, or touch the scabs or flaking skin. Let them fall off naturally to avoid patchy results or scarring.
  • Avoid makeup and skincare around the brows for at least 10 days.
  • Stay out of the sun and tanning beds for 2 weeks. Once healed, always use SPF on the brows to prevent fading.
  • Skip workouts and saunas for 7–10 days. Sweat can interfere with pigment retention.
  • No facials, Botox, or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks after your appointment.
  • Apply healing ointment as directed by your brow specialist—usually 1–2 times a day using clean hands or a cotton swab.

Flawless brows are a healing process—be patient, and trust the journey.

PRE & POST CARE

Prepare your pout for a fresh, flawless flush:

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain supplements (e.g., fish oil, vitamin E) for 48–72 hours before your appointment.
  • Skip alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours prior to treatment to reduce sensitivity and bruising.
  • Stay hydrated—drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 1 week before your treatment to protect your delicate lip skin.
  • Do not wax, tweeze, or exfoliate your lips for at least 3–5 days before your appointment.
  • If you’re prone to cold sores, please notify your provider—antiviral medication may be recommended 1–2 days before treatment.
  • Come with clean, product-free lips—avoid applying lipstick, balm, or gloss on the day of your appointment.

Your lips are about to get the Really Her treatment—gentle prep is key!

Nurture your new pout with gentle care:

  • Keep lips dry and clean for the first 24 hours—avoid licking, picking, or rubbing the treated area.
  • Avoid applying makeup or lip products for at least 48 hours after your treatment.
  • Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning beds for 2 weeks, and always use SPF once healed to protect your color.
  • Avoid hot, spicy foods and beverages for the first few days to reduce irritation.
  • No swimming, saunas, or steam rooms for 1 week to prevent infection and fading.
  • Expect some peeling or flaking—this is normal and part of the healing process. Let it shed naturally.
  • Stay hydrated and avoid smoking to support healing and color retention.

Soft, beautiful lips take time—treat yours with kindness and patience.
